About dp

I am pretty much your typical American family guy with a bent toward the atypical.  I like to think I’m the analytic sort. (See what I did there?)  I like to think.  I’m the analytic sort.  Oh, forget it!

I am married to the love of my life and have been given the wonderful privilege of raising four kids with her, three princes and a princess. But don’t let that fool ya.  She’ll give you a black eye if you call her “Cutie Patootie”…and my daughter will, too. [ba-dum-pum-tst]

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, doing my best to represent Him well in a mad, mad world.  Some days, I succeed; other days…nuh-uh.  I’ll just apologize in advance: “I’m sorry if you catch me on a ‘nuh-uh’ day.”

I have much for which to be thankful, and I’m sure, if you think about it long enough, you could say that, too.

I have big dreams for the future, which some call “delusions of grandeur”…but they would be wrong.  Never give up on your dreams!

Anyway, what I really meant to say was, “Enough about me, more about you.” 😉

Thanks for taking a walk in my cyber-world!  I hope you find it all warm & cozy in here, just like your favorite blanket. 🙂

    • Now, HAPPY, I’d dare say that criticism outside the boundaries of seeking to make another better is not helpful for anyone (unless you feel better by unloading #HateSpeech on another). Sure, you’ve voiced your opinion, but you haven’t told me how you believe that I make other ‘Christians look like selfish, narrow-minded, hypocritical people.’ I believe that someone who is not being hyper-critical would realize that each and every individual makes their own statement, not statements for others. You should NEVER judge others by one. My blog is my opportunity to voice my view(s) on life, not win your approval. #HatersGonnaHate

I do, however, want to truly help you, so I will share a few words of wisdom, though I admit they are not my own:

“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” ~ Apostle Paul [COLOSSIANS 4:6]

“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” ~ Apostle John [JOHN 13:35]
